Future Passive Housings
The target audience for this particular knowledge about
suitable methods of construction, materials, building services and building
physics corresponding relationships are mainly external planners, engineers,
craftsmen and manufacturers of components for passive houses.
A new way of networking combines planning and execution expertise, thus understanding the project of passive housings as a holistic synthesis of design, engineering, construction and environment. Basis for this "coexistence" of user-oriented programming, creative as well as state of the art engineering based design of buildings and equipment, and detailed proof design planning, implementation and quality control is an integrated team approach of thoughtful users, architects, engineers and craftsmen.
Townplanning issues include collaboration with the municipality of the city of Münster.
By means of the mediation of basic knowledge for passive housings standards are discussed multiple aspects of the energy conscious construction beyond the term "passive housing", which indicates merely a standard of energy, but by no means a standardized design. The project's specific conditions and requirements of particular location, building form, construction, health and aesthetics and cost aspects lead to very different characteristics of passive housing. Succesful projects integrate these often opposing parameters over all planning and construction phases to a holistic, but highly individual project. In teaching at MSA is the new emphasis on "future passive housings" is not limited to residential, but will be transferred in future to energy efficiency typologies of office and commercial buildings as well.
