6 railway stations
light rail U 35
Germany, Bochum, 1992 - 1993
structure
The main supporting structure consists of tubular trusses stiffened by A-shaped standards.
A special connecting joint was designed in cooperation with Prof. Polonyi and then was applied in all six railway stations' structures.
By completely prefabricating the trusses and standards a rapid assembly on the site whilst ongoing rail operations was possible.
Balustrade, benches, showcases and signal technology go by the 78 cm module of the glass panels that built the roof and outer walls.
