Synergetic factory planning
From today’s perspective factory planning projects are often characterized by a sequential approach attached to a limited availability of information of the involved planning disciplines among one another. At the same time the demand for a lifecycle coordination of products, process and buildings require new methods and tools.
Therefore cooperative and integrative approaches that ensure efficient interaction of all involved parties are necessary. Synergetic factory planning implies to interlock the involved disciplines and to generate a synergy effect by this holistic approach. The synergy of architecture and factory planning is playing a key role, because if coordinated correctly it can tremendously increase a factories efficiency and flexibility and so generate additional benefits for the contractor.
